Step 4: fear inventory

One entry per fear: what you're afraid of, why, how it has driven your choices, and what you'd do with more trust.

Why this helps

Fear sits underneath many resentments and much addictive behavior. The 12-step fear inventory looks at each fear honestly — where it comes from and how it has shaped your choices — so you can practice courage and trust instead.

Step work is best done with a sponsor or mentor. This is a private place to prepare — share it with them when you're ready.

1. What I'm afraid of

2. Why I have this fear

3. How it has driven my choices

4. Where I've relied only on myself instead of asking for help

5. What I'd do if I trusted — or had a little more courage
