How long to stay on it is a decision for you and your prescriber, not the Thanksgiving table. A line that has served people well: 'My doctor and I have a plan, and it's working — look at this year.' You don't owe anyone your medical chart. Congratulations on eight months of the life you just described.

Family member here (my son is on it, three years now). What changed my mind wasn't a lecture — it was watching him become himself again. Give them time, and give yourself credit. The proof is the life, and you're living it.
